With each new production, we host a special Preview Benefit Evening, where patrons come together for a fun cocktail party and then all go together to attend the show. We were proud to have Hahn Estates as our 2008 Wine Sponsor. For just $100 or $150 you get a full fun evening with wine, food and fine theater.

RATTLESTICK 13th ANNIVERSARY GALA – OCTOBER 1, 2007
Our first ever Gala Benefit, celebrating our 13th Anniversary Season (and our big Obie award this year too), took place on Monday October 1, 2007 at Caroline’s on Broadway. Co-Chairs Lawrence Benenson and Doug Nevin kicked off an exciting evening with our emcee Remy Auberjonois, and performances by Anastasia Barzee, Bill Bowers, Norm Lewis, Craig Lucas,and Aaron Tveit. Thank you to everyone who supported this event! We look forward to next year’s gala and hope to see you all back again.
Bonasorte Prize: David Van Asselt announced the creation of the Bonasorte Prize, honoring the memory of playwright and Rattlestick founder, Gary Bonasorte, to be awarded to an emerging playwright for the first time at next year’s Gala. The recipient will be selected by a panel of theater professionals.
Our silent auctionand impromptu live auction (where Remy elected to auction of the culinary and dish-washing services our Managing Director, Sandra Coudert) raised over $25,000, and Sandra must now prepare and clean two separate private dinner parties for up to six people. All for the love of theater.
