Submissions

FOR PLAYWRIGHTS:
In our mission to foster new dramatic voices, for years Rattlestick has accepted full, unsolicited scripts; and it is of the utmost importance to us that every script we receive is given thorough consideration and review. As Rattlestick has grown though, it has become increasingly harder to handle the sheer volume of scripts we are sent. In order to best serve playwrights, we are asking that instead of full scripts, interested parties please send the following:

*Cover Letter
*Resume
*Synopsis
*Actor Breakdown
*15 Page Sample (or a scene)

After consideration from our reader’s group, we may ask you for a full script, and the process will continue from there. Please also note that we do not accept e-mail submissions of any kind, and please do not include a self-addressed stamped enveloped for the return of your materials. For organizational purposes, we cannot guarantee that we will return your submission once we have completed our review. Also, while we do try to review all materials sent to us and to get back to playwrights in a reasonable period of time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to review every single script that is sent to us.

Reviewing our mission and the plays we have produced in past seasons will help you get a sense of our work and sensibilities. Submissions should be sent to the following:
