“Brian and Stacey want a better life, the life they deserve. But what they’re willing to do to get it will destroy their family, rip them apart…and finally get them into the Club.”

stageFARM artistic director Alex Kilgore says: “The Gingerbread House is timely, particularly in this economic climate, as a dark fairy tale of upward mobility and inverted priorities. It’s as terrifying as it is hilarious. Mark’s voice is revolutionary, his rhythm cut-throat, and his language sharp, spare, and deadly accurate.”

The cast will be comprised of Bobby Cannavale (Broadway’s Mauritius, ABC’s Cupid), Jason Butler Harner (The Coast of Utopia, The Ruby Sunrise at the Public), Sarah Paulson (Crimes of the Heart at the Roundabout, ABC’s Cupid), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu on Brodaway), and Ben Rappaport (NYC stage debut)

The design team features John McDermott (sets), Ben Stanton (lighting), Jessica Wegener (costumes), Zane Birdwell (sound) and Richard DiBella (video/projections).

The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place. (Map It Here!)

the stageFARM is a non-profit off-broadway theater company dedicated to commissioning / producing relevant new plays for a new audience. the stageFARM believes many people lack interest in the theater today because they neither recognize, nor identify with, what they see on stage. For a generation weaned on the immediacy of MySpace and YouTUBE, the theater is often runner-up in the entertainment race – alienating people with its cost, pretense, and elitism.

the stageFARM is committed to producing plays by playwrights whose voices engage our restless generation.

Plays by Jesse Eisenberg, David Adjmi, Dael Orlandersmith, José Rivera, Daniel Talbott, and Dan Klores
