October 1415. St. Crispin’s Day. the eve of the battle of Agincourt. The Frenchies lay sleeping, preparing themselves for the momentous battle to be fought the following morning, a battle which will determine the future of France. And the English? They’re stealing gold from nearby churches, seducing hapless prostitutes, and bludgeoning each other. “Borrowing characters from Shakespeare is not a novel idea,” says playwright Matt Pepper. “Happily, I’m not a novelist.”

Now playing: a “gripping drama” by Stephen Belber:
Geometry of Fire
