In April 2023, Daniella Topol will leave the company after a 7-year tenure to pursue a career in nursing. Daniella has been integral to shaping our mission and revitalizing the organizational health and artistic heartbeat of Rattlestick. This transition is an incredible opportunity for our community to acknowledge the remarkable footprint that Daniella has left on Rattlestick and commit to upholding the level of excellence that she has led the company with since 2016. The fund is a way to honor Daniella’s legacy and support Will’s ambitions for the future of Rattlestick.

In spring 2023, Will Davis joined Rattlestick Theater as its new Artistic Director, and the first ever transgender leader of an off-Broadway theater. Will’s impact on future artistic programs, initiatives, and partnerships will establish a new chapter in Rattlestick’s history. Support for the Artistic Director’s Fund is support for adventurous new work from diverse perspectives, for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in our field, and for Will’s vision of who we could be as a civic and artistic community.
