Join us in person or online for a sneak peek of our 28th season featuring highlights from our cadre of talented commissioned writers and fellows. Followed by a reception in our courtyard where guests can mingle with Rattlestick artists over drinks and — you guessed it — toast and jam.
The evening will be hosted by Jesse Eisenberg, and feature offerings from Basil Kreimendahl, Dael Orlandersmith, a.k. payne, Arturo Luís Soria, May Treuhaft-Ali, Minghao Tu, and Jennifer Westfeldt. All proceeds will directly support our artists and their work this upcoming season.

Artists and Offerings
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Playwright in Residence, Basil Kreimendahl will be presenting an excerpt from his play Sadie Rivers Drag Ball on the Lawn.
Commissioned artist Dael Orlandersmith will be presenting an excerpt from her commissioned play Spiritus.
a.k. payne will be presenting an excerpt from her play Amani, which will be produced as a mainstage production in partnership with National Black Theater in January 2022.
Commissioned artist Arturo Luís Soria will be presenting an excerpt from his commissioned play, Sin Padre, a followup to Rattlestick's 2021 mainstage production of Ni Mi Madre.
Van Lier Fellow May Treuhaft-Ali will be presenting an excerpt of one of her plays in development, Quick Service.
Van Lier Fellow Minghao Tu will be presenting an excerpt of one of his plays in development, Dye House.
Jennifer Westfeldt will be performing an excerpt from The Gett, which will be produced as a mainstage production in November 2022.
