Rattlestick invites you to a special concert reading of new musical Thebes. Night after night, the underground nightclub "Thebes" comes alive, as the ghosts of its former rulers - Oedipus, Jocasta, and their cursed offspring - reenact their infamous demise. When Zeus appears to shut the tired operation down, Thebes is faced with a choice that pits the living against the dead once and for all: Do you embrace your fate or can you write something new?
Thebes is being developed through special funding by Sonja Berggren and Patrick Seaver as part of the Rattlestick Directing Fellowship program.
