making a donation!
You're invited to a holiday party and inaugural benefit event to convene our wonderful community for a festive celebration!
Join us for a retelling of The Nutcracker ballet from the perspective of Rattlestick’s favorite underdog: The Rat King. And trust us– he’s not going to sugar coat it. For one night only, the Rat King returns to the stage after faking his death in the 1816 Battle of Mice and Soldiers. Love, war, and rats collide in this can’t miss first installment of a holiday classic directed and choreographed by Artistic Director, Will Davis. It's silly, it's charming, it's downtown theater with a holiday spirit.
Featuring
Sam Gravitte as the Rat King
Salty Brine as Uncle Drosselmeyer
Plus a whimsical winter ensemble including
Ethan Dubin, Z Infante, Han Van Sciver, Rami Margron, Nora Sharp, and more!
Scenic Design and Art Direction by Basil Kreimendahl
All proceeds from this event will support Rattlestick’s commitment to new work development.
